Last day, I was making a spreadsheet for a google form that I am planning to use for a work assignment. I was using mobile and not my laptop.

Using a mobile to create a complex excel sheet with conditional formating is a challenge because there are no direct buttons and everything have to go through codes.

Wht I learned today was if you insert a $ sign infront of your row and column nomenclature, that would lock the system by only reading that. For example $A5 means the system would read all values in A series including A1, A2...A10etc. If you input $A$1,then the system will only read whats in cell A1.

What have you recently learned about spreadsheet coding?

I haven't learnt anything complex but I did learn about Sums and calculating values from a whole column. Also learnt how to add up values from cells that are next to a cell with a certain cell. I'm using Spreadsheets right now to track my Beermoney earnings which has been quite fun.
