Github is soon going to launch a paid service that allows users to edit the code from the repository itself. That way they can use it from any computer. And that would make the code editing and deployment lot easier. I think they are using visual studio code for this. And so far it looks pretty interesting feature to use as well.

Have you checked out Github codespaces?

Code Spaces looks really unique and it's awesome to have an IDE that runs "in the cloud", perhaps I'll be able to code from my laptop for longer periods of time as it's not making the unit burn up. I'm excited to see the product evolve.

Yes the only issue is that it is not going to be free. Considering the workflow for the code would be entirely on the web. It is possible that they may charge some amount for the codespaces. I am sure in near future github has a lot to offer on that front. We will see in coming months.
